Highly Specialised Orthoptist 

Harriet studied Orthoptics at The University of Liverpool, graduating with first class honours in 2019. Since then, she has gained vast experience in a range of clinics across Surrey, Buckinghamshire and North London. 

 

She specialises in the assessment and management of strabismus (squint), amblyopia (lazy eye) and children’s visual development as well as adult ocular motility disorders and double vision. She is highly skilled at assessing children and patients with additional needs.

 

Now working at the Royal Free Hospital, based at Barnet, Edgware and Chase Farm Hospitals, Harriet has developed a specialist extended role in retinopathy of prematurity screening and service improvement. She is trained in optos imaging, indirect ophthalmoscopy and Humphrey visual fields and has an added interest in research and innovation, thriving to provide the highest standard of care.
